Nissan’s Rogue, the flagship vehicle in the United States market, experiences a subtle redesign that stays true to its fundamental identity as a mainstream compact crossover for the 2024 model year. The Nissan Rogue SUV retains its praiseworthy characteristics, showcasing notable technological upgrades and an attractive aesthetic. Particularly noteworthy is the continued provision of exceptional value for money in the lower trims—S and SV—solidifying its position as the most coveted Nissan vehicle in the United States. To heighten its appeal to prospective buyers, the 2024 model introduces a host of new features curated by Nissan.

In 2023, the Rogue featured a modest nine-inch infotainment touchscreen, exclusive to the premium Platinum trim. However, for 2024, there has been a substantial upgrade in touchscreen dimensions. Specifically, the top-tier trims—SL and Platinum—now incorporate advanced Google built-in technology. This sophisticated system is accessible through the trims’ newly enhanced 12.3-inch touchscreen, seamlessly integrated into the vehicle and powered by a 4G LTE modem. Consequently, users are no longer required to pair or connect their smartphones to access this feature. The system encompasses applications such as Google Assistant, Google Maps, and much more from the Google Play Store.

Advanced Tech is Key

Relying on Google Assistant, prospective buyers can effortlessly execute tasks through voice commands, including sending text messages, making calls, and playing music. Moreover, accessing Google information, such as saved locations on Maps from other browsers or devices, is streamlined by logging into the SUV’s infotainment system. Catering to iPhone users, Apple CarPlay is a standard feature across all variants. For the SL and Platinum versions, both Apple CarPlay and Android Auto are available wirelessly, while on the lower-level trims equipped with eight-inch infotainment units, they can be accessed via a wired connection. Notably, the all-new 2024 Rogue will exclusively incorporate USB-C charging ports. Additional technological upgrades on the upper trims include:

  • Amazon Alexa access
  • SiriusXM with 360L, utilizing both streaming and satellite technologies to deliver a wide array of channels and on-demand content.
  • Hybrid Radio, allowing drivers and passengers access to FM radio stations in areas with limited or no signals.

Furthermore, purchasers of the 2024 Nissan Rogue SV and Platinum trims are entitled to a three-year trial of NissanConnect Services. Through the MyNISSAN mobile application, users can remotely unlock doors, start and stop their engines, and request roadside assistance.

2024 Nissan Rogue Design Updates

The 2024 Nissan Rogue showcases a refreshed and refined front fascia, accentuated by a new V-motion grille and a subtly adjusted bumper. Gloss black trim elements embellish both the front and rear, including gloss black fenders that distinguish the Platinum as the top-tier variant. The SV trim now boasts new 18-inch alloy wheels. The upcoming compact crossover offers three fresh color choices—Everest White Pearl, Baja Storm, and Deep Ocean Blue Pearl. The 2024 Rogue introduces distinctive materials and finishes for the door panels, center console, dashboard, and seats.

It’s important to note that Nissan has not yet specified potential modifications to the interior materials offered across variants. Standard cloth seating is featured on the S and SV trims, while faux leather is available as an option on the SV. The two higher-end trims are furnished with genuine leather. Remarkably, 2024 Rogue Platinum owners can opt for brown leather upholstery.
